Man Utd 3, West Ham 0
Alejandro Garnacho scored twice as Manchester United comfortably beat West Ham 3-0 at Old Trafford after Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring.
Rasmus Hojlund scored from the edge of the box after 23 minutes to set United on their way on his 21st birthday.
Alejandro Garnacho’s shot went in off after a big deflection off Nayef Aguerd after 49 minutes.
Lisandro Martinez had to go off injured in the second half and Kalvin Phillips was roundly booed for his Manchester City links.
And despite a great chance for Jarrod Bowen to reduce the deficit when he went clear it was United who sealed the points as Scott McTominay who found Alejandro Garnacho for his second of the day.

Andre Onana: 8. Saved from Edson Alvarez from close range, a long range shot from Ben Johnson, a header from Mohammed Kudus, and a poor effort from Emerson Palmieri. Kicking not that accurate in a windy Old Trafford.
Diogo Dalot: 8. Tough time against Mohammed Kudus. Low shot saved by Areola. 25 yard effort just went over in the second half. Great block on Jarrod Bowen as he broke free in the second half when a goal looked likely.
Harry Maguire: 7. Blocked Tomas Soucek’s goal bound shot. Attacked the ball, making good clearances. Mistake let in Emerson Palmieri who should have scored.
Lisandro Martinez: 7. Got stuck in but appeared to hurt his right knee in the second half a couple of times to the derision of the away fans before he was taken off.
Luke Shaw: 7. Defensively sound.
Kobbie Mainoo: 6. Stood up to some big pressure in midfield.
Casemiro: 7. Easing himself back into the team, quietly controlled midfield.
Alejandro Garnacho: 8. Didn’t get much change from Emerson Palmieri but did scored a superb second half goal and created his own celebration too before slotting in his second and repeating it.
Bruno Fernandes: 7. Forced a superb save from Alphonse Areola, plenty of skills on show and set up Alejandro Garnacho for his first goal of the day. Hesitated when the ball fell at his feet late on and a goal chance was cleared off his toes.
Marcus Rashford: 6. Battled away up front, denied a shooting chance by Kurt Zouma but way off target to his chagrin in the second half and things didn’t go for him again.
Rasmus Hojlund: 7. Found it hard against Kurt Zouma but the big defender was blocked off when he scored after the loose ball broke to him. Had a chance to make it 2-0 just before half time.
Scott McTominay (on for Kobbie Mainoo, 64): 7. Ruffled feathers in midfield, set up Alejandro Garnacho to make the game safe and could have had a goal himself.
Raphael Varane (on for Lisandro Martinez, 71): 6. On to replace the injured Lisandro Martinez and he headed away a James Ward-Prowse free kick and booted away another chance.
Victor Lindelof (on for Luke Shaw, 87): No time to mark
Antony (on for Rasmus Hojlund, 87): No time to mark
