Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has added to his medal haul after being named PFA Player of the Year.
The Norwegian scored 52 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions – including a record 36 Premier League goals in his first season at the Etihad Stadium.
The accolade was voted for by his fellow professionals and the 23-year-old goal machine will add it to his existing awards: FWA Footballer of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season and Premier League Young Player of the Season.
Haaland was also named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year alongside team-mates John Stones, Rodri, Ruben Dias, and Kevin de Bruyne following a memorable season in which City completed a historic Treble.
The PFA Women’s Super League Team of the Year also had representation from City as as Yui Hasegawa, Alex Greenwood and Bunny Shaw were named in the XI.
Haaland said: “It’s an honour to win this prestigious award.
“To be recognised by your competitors is a great feeling and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me.
“It was an unforgettable season for the team and for me personally. Winning the Treble was something I never imagined, so to achieve that with such a special group of players was an amazing feeling.
“John, Rodri, Ruben and Kevin all deserve their place in the Team of the Year and I am delighted that their efforts have been rewarded with this recognition too.
“We created some incredible memories last season, but now we want to do the same again this year.
“We have started the season well and we need to keep going.”
Director of Football Txiki Begiristain added: “We are so delighted for Erling that he has won this award.
“His goal-scoring record last season was obviously incredible and that alone marks him out as a special player.
“But his influence all over the pitch continues to grow and he has so much drive to keep improving even more and we are convinced he will get even better.
“Erling is a world class player and a great guy to have in the dressing room and we’re very proud of him.
“Last season was so special and we’re delighted to see so many of our players recognised for their incredible contribution.
“I know, for them, it’s a big honour to be selected by your fellow professionals.
“The whole squad were outstanding and it’s a very proud moment for the Club to have five players named in the Team of the Year.
“They have such a hunger and desire to bring success which we saw last season and we have already witnessed in the opening weeks of this season.”
Managing Director of Manchester City Women Gavin Makel also added: “We’re delighted to see Alex, Yui and Bunny recognised with a place in the PFA Team of the Season.
“Like their team-mates, they have each worked incredibly hard to bring success to the Club and are each fully deserving of their inclusion.
“They embody what this team and Club is all about: hard work, consistency and quality both on and off the pitch.”
