Manchester City finished their Champions League group campaign with a win as Rico Lewis became the youngest player to score on his Champions league full debut.

PLAYER RATINGS – Manchester City 3, Sevilla 1 (UEFA Champions League)
Manuel Ortega: 6. Good early save from Rafa Mir. Missed the Rafa Mir header. Spilled a late cross that should have been converted by Thomas Delaney.
Rico Lewis: 7. Showcased some strong running and enthusiastic defending and also saw an ambitious long range shot go wide. Scored a great goal in the second half to become the youngest ever player to score on his full Champions League debut. Got applause from 3 sides of the pitch as he walked round to come off after a late substitution.
Ruben Dias: 6. Early chance to score came off his thigh and wide. Was marshalling Isco when Sevilla had the ball. Goalbound header tipped over by Bouono who also saved a late header from the defender.
Aymeric Laporte: 6. Good run out, got forward too.
Sergio Gomez: 6. Pushed into midfield and had a shot go wide. His flank left open at times and was dwarfed up against Rafa Mir.
Cole Palmer: 6. Almost capitalised from a goalkeeping error by Yassine Bounou to score the opener. Tried hard with little end product.
Ilkay Gundogan: 6. Bit too casual at times. Hit the side netting after exchanging passes with Phil Foden.
Phil Foden: 7. Looked at home in a deeper role but also dangerous going forward, had a deflected shot saved, and set up a great chance for Ilkay Gundogan. Sent a late shot wide.
Jack Grealish: 6. Very attacking outlook and ran at Sevilla. Free kick set up a chance for Ruben Dias.
Riyad Mahrez: 7. Up for the challenge, some good balls in and was rewarded with a great ball from Julian Alvarez to score City’s third;.
Julian Alvarez: 8. Scored a goal and set up the other two. Outnumbered up front but worked the defenders and goalkeeper hard – Marcao had to come off after injuring himself trying to get away from him. He set up Rico Lewis and almost handed Phil Foden a sitter before putting City into the lead from a De Bruyne pass. Robbed Jose Angel Carmona to set up Riyad Mahrez to put the game to bed.
Rodri (on for Jack Grealish, 46): 6. Stabilised midfield for City.
Bernardo Silva (on for Ilkay Gundogan, 57): 6. Added extra impetus to midfield but didn’t quite tune in.
Josh Wilson-Esbrand (on for Sergio Gomez, 70): 6. Adding a bit more physical presence to defence after the sight of Gomez trying to mark Rafa Mir.
Kevin De Bruyne (on for Cole Palmer, 70): 7. His through ball for Julian Alvarez was finished by the Argentinian to put City back into the lead.
Joao Cancelo (on for Rico Lewis, 85): No time to mark.
