Mossley have increased their firepower by signing striker Keaton Mulvey on a three-month loan from Rochdale.
The 18-year-old from Hattersley, a professional at Spotland, had appeared for the League One club in pre-season friendlies against Atherton Collieries, Stockport County and Oldham Athletic.
Mulvey impressed Rochdale while playing against them for Curzon Ashton in the FA Youth Cup.
He scored seven goals in seven games in the competition, including two in a memorable 3-2 win against Oldham Athletic.
Mossley manager David Fish believes Mulvey will provide a different dimension to their game in the final third of the pitch.
He said: “The one thing we have lacked during pre-season is pace when attacking.
“Keaton is quick, direct, can open up defences and is a goalscorer.
“He is remaining with Rochdale during the week so will benefit from full-time training.”
Mossley have also added defensive cover to the squad by signing Paul Riley.
The 23-year-old, who can play either centre half or right back, was formerly at Manchester Central and latterly Wythenshawe Amateurs.
Fish added he tried to sign Riley while he was manager at Chadderton, but the player decided to stay with Amateurs.
