Exciting winger Jes Uchegbulam re-signed for Mossley on the eve of the Emirates FA Cup tie against St Helens Town at Seel Park on Saturday (Sept 12).
There had been uncertainty about the future of Uchegbulam who has trained with Salford City and Stockport County pre-season.
Uchegbulam, signed by the Lilywhites from Stockport Town in 2018, also had trials at Sheffield Wednesday last season.
He was top scorer for the Under-21s in 2018-19 when he also made his first-team debut.
Uchegbuam made 33 appearances last season, scoring six goals and winning the young player-of-the-season award.
Manager David Fish told the club website: “Jes is an exciting player with huge potential, he has bags of natural ability and is an athlete.
“He has an ambition to progress into the full-time game but is very raw. We’ve started working with him through pre-season on how to have a greater impact on games and make the most of his ability.
“If Jes works with us and takes on board the advice and coaching, I’m confident he can have a great season and be an important member of the squad.”
Earlier in the week, Mossley signed wide midfielder Dylan Stringer-Moth, 24, a former academy player at Liverpool and scholar at Wolves.
The New Moston-based Stringer-Moth then went on to play for BK Sport in Sweden before having spells at Ashton United, New Mills, Prestwich Heys, Wythenshawe Town and Chadderton.
