“The Club is committed to the growth of the women’s game and is continuing to produce one of the best environments for players in the world.
“I am very much looking forward to next two years and adding my presence to a trophy winning team.
“I want to thank Gavin Makel, Alan Mahon and all the support staff for this opportunity to continue to be part of the City family – I am grateful and very excited for what lies ahead.”
Head of Women’s Football Gavin Makel added: “I am delighted that Janine has committed her future to the club.
“She represents everything that we are about – a player who has the desire to win and improve, whilst always putting the team’s needs above her own.
“There’s no doubt that Janine will continue to get better and better as she has done over the last couple of years.”
