Manchester City could face Chelsea in the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League after the WSL1 clubs were kept apart in the quarter-final and semi-final draws but the path to the final could be filled with familiar faces for City.
Nick Cushing’s side will welcome back former attacking midfielder Kosovare Asllani with her new side Linkoping after they were drawn against City in the quarter final draw.
Should they beat the newly crowned Swedish Champions, they will face a semi final against either Lucy Bronze’s Lyon or Toni Duggan’s Barcelona.
Chelsea have a tie against French Champions Montpellier with either Wolfsburg or Slavia Prague waiting for them in the semi final.
The final will be held in Ukraine at the Valeriy Lobanovskiy Dynamo Stadium in Kiev on May 24, 2018.
