It was a case of two out, one in for Oldham Athletic on transfer deadline day.
Full-back Connor Brown and striker Jake Cassidy exited Latics who signed Burnley’s Cameron Dummigan.
The departures of Brown and Cassidy, who had their contracts terminated by mutual consent, were no surprise as the club had made them available.
Brown had been at the club four years having been signed from Sheffield United by Paul Dickov while Cassidy was in his second season at the club.
Cassidy’s first season was disrupted by a broken leg and he never established a regular place following a move from Wolves.
Northern Ireland U21 international Dummigan has been signed from Burnley for an undisclosed fee and agreed a two-year permanent deal.
Dummigan, who can play either right back or right midfield, had a successful loan spell with Latics last season.
