Oldham Athletic have unveiled Stephen Robinson as their long-awaited new manager.
The 41-year-old has left Scottish Premier League club Motherwell where he was assistant manager.
Robinson, who played for AFC Bournemouth, Luton Town and Northern Ireland for whom he was on their coaching staff at Euro 2016.
He will be assisted by Ian Baraclough who was a former Motherwell manager while Sean O’Driscoll is the club’s director or football and Lee Turnbull head of recruitment in a completely new backroom staff in the wake of he exits of John Sheridan and Peter Shirtliffe.
Robinson, who inherited only five contracted players with first-team experience, completed the signings of three players within hours of his arrival, all with Motherwell connections.
Josh Law, a full back/midfielder, was signed from the Fir Park club on a 12 month deal.
Goalkeeper Connor Ripley, who was on a season-long loan to Motherwell last season, has been signed on a similar deal from Middlesbrough.
And striker Lee Erwin has been signed on a season-long loan from Leeds United who bought him from Motherwell for a six-figure sum.
