Manchester City face a trip to Ukraine to face 500-1 outsiders Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League Round of 16.
City last played Kiev in the last 16 of the Europa League in 2011 when they lost 2-1 on aggregate with Mario Balotelli sent off in the home leg.
After two seasons of struggle in the group stages, the Blues have topped their qualifying group and got a favourable draw and are rated 14-1 to win the competition but their fellow Premier League clubs in the draw faced tough opponents.
Arsenal will face Barcelona, who have knocked out City for the last two seasons running at the same stage, while Chelsea will have the opportunity for revenge against Paris St Germain who knocked them out at the same stage last season.
Manchester United face Danish side FC Midtjylland in the last 32 of the Europa League. City beat the Danes in a penalty shootout to qualify for the first round of the UEFA Cup in August 2008 after drawing 1-1 on aggregate.
Joe Hart was the City hero on the day as the Blues went through 4-2 after spot kicks.
The Reds are away for the first leg in Denmark on February 18 with the return leg on February 25.
North West rivals Liverpool drew Augsberg, a first return to Germany for their manager Jurgen Klopp, while Tottenham will face a tricky tie against Italians Fiorentina.
