Bruno Zuculini joins Middlesbrough and could play against Manchester United
No new injury concerns for Capital One Cup game against Crystal Palace
Manchester City have signed former Brisbane Roar midfielder Luke Brattan after the end of his contract with the A-League team.
The 25-year old, who was born in Hull, has represented Australia at U20 level, and was immediately loaned out to Championship basement club Bolton Wanderers until January 3.
Brattan, a defensive midfielder, could make his debut at Preston North End on Saturday.
Tim Cahill, a former Everton player, congratulated his compatriot on his move to England, saying on Twitter: “Congratulations Luke Brattan on your move. You will gain great experience at Bolton, great stadium, great fans mate. Well done MCFC top signing.”

Another City midfielder, Bruno Zuculini, has signed for Championship side Middlesbrough as cover for injured midfielder Adam Forshaw.
The 22-year-old Argentine spent last season on loan at La Liga sides Valencia and Cordoba and will spend a month at the Riverside after failing to break into the first team squad at the Etihad.

Zuculini could be in line for a quick return to Manchester, however, as he could be involved in Boro’s matchday squad when they travel to Old Trafford to play against Manchester United in the Capital One Cup tomorrow night.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has reported no new injury concerns ahead of tomorrow’s Capital One Cup tie against Crystal Palace.
Sergio Aguero, Gael Clichy, Fabian Delph, Samir Nasri and David Silva will not be available for tomorrow’s game.
Pellegrini has hinted that Silva might have a chance to play against Norwich City this weekend.
But Fernandinho is suspended for the game after reaching 5 yellow cards for the season in Sunday’s drab Manchester derby.
The Chilean wasn’t giving away any plans on starting with youngsters against Palace tomorrow such as Kelechi Iheanacho, Patrick Roberts, or 17-year-old midfielder Manu Garcia who made his City debut in the last round against Sunderland on September 22.
