Manchester United has secured a deal with Irish mobile and online entertainment firm KamaGames who become the club’s first official games partner.
It is a “global partnership and multi-year deal”, though the financial details have not been disclosed.
Dublin-based KamaGames, will develop branded mobile and online games for the club’s fans worldwide.
KamaGames is a leading global developer and publisher of social games for mobile platforms, online, Steam, Xbox Live, and PlayStation networks. The audience for its portfolio currently reaches over 70
million users worldwide with over one million active daily players.
United group managing director, Richard Arnold said: “Manchester United is lucky enough to have a huge global following and we understand the importance of engaging with and entertaining our fans. KamaGames and their innovative products will allow us to do this in new and exciting ways.”
KamaGames CEO, Danny Hammett added: “KamaGames and Manchester United share a similar worldwide audience, and with this in mind, we are confident that the partnership will be a huge success for both organisations.

As well as Ireland, KamaGames has bases in the United States, Russia, Asia and Dubai.
