Manchester United’s chief operating officer Michael Bolingbroke has left the club having taken up his post in 2007.
The club said the 46-year-old former Cirque du Soleil executive’s responsibilities, including stadium operations and finance, would be assumed “by current members of the management team”.
Ed Woodward, executive vice chairman said: “Mike has been instrumental in the success of some major projects that we have completed since his arrival, most notably at the Aon Training Complex and in improving the matchday experience for all fans coming to Old Trafford.
“Everyone here wishes him well for the future. With the internal reorganisation undertaken last summer, we will maintain stability in vital areas of the business.”
