Fernandinho scored his first goal for Brazil as they routed South Africa 5-0 in Johannesburg.
The Manchester City midfielder’s late powerful strike made it 4-0 before Neymar completed his hat trick in injury time after collecting a knock back by former City striker Jo who was on as a substitute.
Chelsea play-maker Oscar had earlier given Brazil the lead within ten minutes before Neymar made it 2-0 just before half time.
A quick change of kit for Brazil saw them swap from their world famous yellow shirts to their second strip of blue shirts but even this didn’t put them out of their stride.
Neymar scored his second and Brazil’s third shortly after the restart.
Their hosts, South Africa, found their visitors too hot to handle and it was no surprise when Fernandinho and Neymar wrapped up a comfortable victory late on.
