Joe Hart has been handed a vote of confidence by England manager Roy Hodgson.
Hodgson has told Hart he will keep goal for England in Tuesday’s prestigious friendly against Germany at Wembley.
It is welcome news for Hart who has been axed by club side Manchester City for the last three matches following a series of high-profile errors.
Hart was also sat on the bench at Wembley last night as Hodgson handed Fraser Forster a debut in the friendly against Chile who were 2-0 victors.
While there is joy for Hart, United’s Phil Jones will miss out on the glamour game on Tuesday.
Jones was forced off in the second half last night with a groin problem which according to Hodgson will be scanned to see its severity.
