Manchester United have been drawn against Liverpool in the Third Round of the Capital One Cup.
In what is expected to be the plum tie of the round United will welcome a Liverpool side that could feature Luis Suarez after his ten match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic last season ends in a few weeks.
The Uruguayan striker will be unavailable, however, when United travel to Anfield for their league encounter this Sunday as his suspension will remain in force until next month.
David Moyes has never beaten Liverpool at Anfield while manager of his former club Everton and will look to improve on that record in Sunday’s lunch time kickoff.
