Carlos Tevez has offered a sincere and full apology to all concerned for his recent conduct.
The wantaway striker recently returned from 3 months absence without leave from Manchester City following a very public falling out with manager Roberto Mancini and the club.
His return to the club last week to train and regain match fitness was preceded by another stinging attack on Mancini who he claimed had “treated him like a dog” over a bust-up on the sidelines during City’s Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich in September 2011.
Tevez said: “I wish to apologise sincerely and unreservedly to everybody I have let down and to whom my actions over the last few months have caused offence. My wish is to concentrate on playing football for Manchester City Football Club.”
The Argentine forward has also withdrawn his appeal against City’s finding of gross misconduct which was due to be heard by the Premier League panel in a matter of days.
